Extra Space Storage

I went into my storage location today and was greeted very warmly and was taken care of so well with my storage unit by KC Fowler. She went out of her way to be of help to me. She was friendly, personable and relatible. I appreciate her kindness so much.

The staff is polite and friendly….However, after for nearly one year of renting two units (outside 10x10 and an inside unit 10x20) They kept trying to raise my rent/rate. I understand unit availability determines rates, but i feel like that is the facilities problem. Why punish a long term customer that was renting two units. I then moved out of my outside unit and kept my inside unit. They lowered my rent for one month. Then immediately following months they wanted to charge me $400 a month for inside unit. I pulled up comparable rates at other facilities to show them that the competition has better rates. Extra space would not match pricing or budge on charging $400/month. Again, after I have been there for a year+. So I had the inconvenience of having to move out all my stuff again! Saving myself almost $300/month at another facility was well worth the moving again. It comes across as they only care about new customers and offering new customers better rates to then charge existing customer higher rates.

KC was amazing! Her wonderful customer service is one of the many reasons we keep coming. :)
